The project explored fresh and innovative interpretations of ceramic materials. We proposed for Mirage, an Italian company renowned for its high-quality ceramic surfaces and innovative design solutions, a concept that, through an in-depth study of fabric patterns, translated their textures and visual rhythms onto porcelain tiles.

texTILE collection is inspired by the textile industry in terms of patterns, fashion, design. The herringbone weaved fabric is a limitless source of inspiration, combining heritage and fashion. It contains the memory of familiar warm patterns and natural fibre and offers endless possible variations in terms of colours, pattern orientation/combinations, graphic effects.

Extracting the pattern from the herringbone weaved fabric, we gave it our personal interpretation to obtain an elegant subtle graphic effect suitable for contemporary interior design. The collection brings warmth and timeless elegance to any interior space and adds subtle texture to flat surfaces. It enhances the tactile perception of depth and space.
